The story
One installer, start to finish
Stay Shady is a Melbourne window tinting business run by Dany Ibrahim. He started the company in late 2025 after years of long shifts at a steel mill, working a couple of jobs at a time with the goal of building a quieter, more honest trade for Melbourne homeowners and builders.
Dany handles every quote, every measure, every install and every follow-up himself. No work is subcontracted out, no rotating crews show up on different days, and the quote you sign is the invoice you receive at completion. The price written down is the price paid.
Stay Shady provides residential, automotive and commercial window tinting across Melbourne. We work with homeowners, builders, property managers and businesses on everything from a single car or a front bedroom through to new builds, offices, shopfronts and rental properties.

Twelve-month workmanship warranty from day one, manufacturer film warranty on top. Film cures over a few days; a little haze early on is normal and clears itself.

Dany Ibrahim. He founded the business in late 2025 after years working in steel manufacturing, and personally handles every measure, quote, and install across Melbourne. There are no subcontractors, no rotating crews, and no sales reps. The person who walks through your home with the film samples is the same person who comes back to install.
Yes. Dany holds public liability insurance covering all work performed on your property. Every install carries a twelve-month workmanship warranty from the day of completion. Product warranties run separately through the manufacturer. Warranty depends on the film used on your job. We confirm the warranty for your specific product with your quote, or ask us any time.
Because the quality and accountability drop the moment a second pair of hands is involved. Every measurement, every cut, every film application is done by Dany. If something is not right, there is one phone number to call and one person who fixes it. Owner-operated means the person whose name is on the business is the person standing in your home.
Window films are sourced from XPEL, SolarGard, UltraGard and Black Armor. Dany is an authorised dealer for all of them, which means genuine film bought direct, installed to manufacturer spec, and a manufacturer warranty that actually stands behind the work. Specific films are discussed during the free measure with physical samples held against your own glass, in your own light.
